Wrong. The pattern on the board tricks your brain into thinking they're not the same color.

Save the image and use an eye-dropper (color picker) tool in something like Paint.NET, GIMP or Photoshop (or MS Paint at a pinch). They are the same color.

I was surprised she took to it so quickly, I gave her about
a 15 minute lesson on how to use it and off she went.


For 81 she is doing great.

Each of the "diagonal black" and the "diagonal white" are not all the same brightness. The shadow from the green cylinder is part of the confusion factor.
