Overdrive and MP3 files

Just wondering if there was a way to load your own mp3 files into the software on Android.

I was on a trip over the weekend and wanted to listen to a book, but when I tried to download a book, it was WMA and Android doesn't support WMA.

I figured the next time I'd just convert to MP3 and load them on my phone to listen to them if it was possible. I like the software and would love to use it for Mp3 audio books.

I know how to transfer files. I want to know if I can specifically convert wma audiobooks to mp3 and use them with overdrive.

What device are you using and what's the source for the audiobooks?

Most MP3 players offer native support for WMA, whereas most smart devices don't. I listen to WMA audiobooks from the library on my Sansa Clips and iPod touch all the time.

Overdrive. Lol. I want to take the WMA files which isn't supported by Overdrive, convert to MP3, which I can do and put those on my DROID Bionic and use those MP3s with overdrive. I like the way the audiobooks are handled by it

AFAIK there is no way to get the Overdrive Media app to access sideloaded files.

I figured as much. I guess I'll just have to use MortPlayer. Not the worst, but too many options for its own good
