Strange power button behaviour on KT
I have a Kindle Touch which I applied the 5.1 software update to.

This morning I was reading some of the Jailbreak stuff and saw that Lifan Yu's 'method 3' still worked so I tried installing that.

Now when I press the power button on the Kindle, the screen stays exactly as it was with the both/menu showing, but is non-operational - it appears to be turning off but not displaying any screen savers.

Has any one else experience this behaviour? I've tried doing a reset but it didn't do any good - is there any way to restore a Kindle to when it arrived from Amazon?

Very strangely - after I left the Kindle on the side for half an hour or so they screen savers came back - no idea what caused it.

current screensaver hack is not compatible with 5.1.0 .

I was using the standard screensavers.
