Mr. pshrynk, I have an announcement to make.

I am formally turning down the offer to be Secretary of Reality Convergence. I refuse to participate in an administration in which the Honorable Undersecretary of Doing Stuff publicly accuses me of being a Fascist.

In addition, I am reneging on my contribution of 480,000,000 Quatloos to the pshrynk campaign. I will be using that money to buy a boat. You can keep the planet on the Inner Arm... I have one on the Outer Arm, and it's not nearly as hot and humid there.

Good day, gentlemen. Buy bonds.

that's true, he didn't. it was me. and actually what i really said, in reply to someone saying your comments seemed socialist to them, was that they seemed more like fascism than socialism, or at least authoritarianism. which they do, as you can see for yourself, if you read objectively the definitions i've posted.

but that really has nothing whatsoever to do with this thread, and i'd rather not spoil the fun over here by dragging that other thread in. i'm only posting at all to defend tirsales' honor.

(Hey, it wouldn't be an election if there wasn't controversy, name-calling, accusations and scandal! Just be glad I didn't bring the soiled undies from the future first administration with me!)

Well, now that we know you HAVE BEEN/were/will be elected -- just got back from the wild mountains of West Virginia. Got any cabinet posts left for me? Or at least an internship?

P.S. Ohio was still there when I drove through it, so you might want to check on your war minister (or whatever VR is). He isn't doing his job.

P.P.S. I'm having SUCH a hard time telling who is saying what!!! Everybody is Carlin today. Sigh. I have to actually *READ* the usernames. Such hard work y'all make for me.
