Yes. Just tried to reinstall launcher and it worked.

EDIT: However after installation launcher menu did not appear. Guess that it needs to be modified .
( It successfully installed files to /mnt/us )

Damn, I don't have my kindle here to try an upgrade...
  1. For jailbroken devices - it is possible to upgrade to 5.1 after a factory reset. Right?
  2. After upgrade - the jailbreak is still in place. Right?
  3. After upgrade - the launcher installs but does not work. Right?
  4. After upgrade - wifi/usb networking still works. Right?
  5. How does screen rotation work after upgrading to 5.1? Is it a manual setting or is there an option to use the grav sensor?
  6. Has anyone tried to load a Kindle Format 8 book? How does it look like? Screenshots?
  7. What about the 802.1x wi-fi feature? Has anybody had the chance to try it?
  8. Any other new feature?

it is manual via menu

There is an option for publisher fonts and I just awared of them. I'll attach some screenshots after enabling
also downloaded the second sample and will upload some screenshots with tables, etc

Thank you!! In the screenshot you posted, for example, text is floating around images. This was not possible with the previous format. Tables, also, should be handled much better. And as far as I understood, it should be possible to embed fonts (for example the one in your screenshots does not look familiar to me).

Look here for a list of the KF8 supported HTML tags and CSS elements.

thomass, could you post the content of the following folders on your Touch pls?
etc/uks, there are at least pubprodkey01.pem and pubprodkey02.pem, probably another one pubdevkey01.pem

Either the keys for download or just the text inside.

The content of the three keys could be a help to update. Had exactly changed these keys on my K3 to get the update install, but I am sure, the ones from K3 are differrent to the KT.
