NOPE. Just like you are not allowed to photo copy a paper book and give copies to all your friends. Instead you buy them copies.

Some people like to buy copies of favorite books just for the covers. They are not allowed them for free because they own a copy.

Same with e-books. If you really have to have the ebook copy just buy it.

it.
Or you can just give them the book when you are finished reading. When they are finished reading they can give it to another person etc. etc. etc.

I'll buy them when I'll re-read them. Which I plan to do this year.

I've stuck on book 5... No more interest, boring, becomes more and more hopeless and dark... Movies were quite enough for me...
So I am not going to buy them.

I had a bit of the same feeling when on the first time reading the begining of book 5 ... but if you keep going, the red head twins will blow a new life into the book (and the movie did not cover that very well)

Me too! It gets darker and darker but you know eventually there has to be light again.

I could not resist. I just had to buy all 7 books. I'm so excited these are finally out (happy dance!). I have only read the pbook series once (but seen the movies many times) so I am really looking forward to re-reading them. I've already started the first one.

I found book 5 the least of the series, but once you're past that... Those Weasley's are the best!

I'm re-reading them on my iPad purchased from Pottermore day 1, currently in the middle of book 5. Very enjoyable so far. Very glad I spent the money.

It was much more riveting in the book, because it took place in front of everyone, and a Harry Potter who finally understood just how powerful he had become was openly mocking Voldemort. When Voldemort was pointing the elder wand at Harry with a trembling hand and Harry said "You still don't get it Riddle, do you?", it was chilling. They totally hashed that up in the movie.

Finish the books.

I too found the last movie to be disappointing. The book just had so much more to it and the movie was like a shadow of the book. Just not the same or even close.

I found the last 5 movies disappointing. There was just not enough time to be able to tell the story properly. You lose too much of the secondary and tertiary characters in the collapsed time you have in a movie over the books. The movies did a good job of hitting the highlights but a lousey job of tying together the smaller things in the books that made the highlights as powerful as they were.
