rain gone - low moved off the coast and high moved in. Temps dropped several °C over night - even chilly. and

wouldna known we nearly flooded Thursday.

You could have a big future writing song lyrics, poohbear! Good luck with the weather - you seem to be having rather a lot of it at the moment.

We had a cold night (first morning at the off leash park wearing a coat as it was pretty nippy) but now it's slowly warming up and I have put some washing on the line in the hope that it will dry.

I drove home from work in a torrential downpour - couldn't see the road markings at all .... couldn't see the road for part of the way .... line of heavy storms moved through ... more expected tonight!

I don't post here often, but had quite enough of meteorological phenomena yesterday. No real damage in my neighborhood, but a tornado blew thru here - if my house were 1/4 mile west or north of where it is, we wouldn't have been so lucky.

You obviously chose your house well, Section8! I saw some footage on the TV news last night and those tornados looked dire, including tossing trucks around. Amazing that no-one was injured or killed by them.

Oh so beautiful and perfect here in Adelaide - sun, blue skies, gentle breeze (and I am in shorts which might not be so appealing for some viewers!). And why do we have this perfect weather? Because tomorrow the Easter long weekend starts and it is just doing it to taunt all the poor people planning a break - because tomorrow the rain will set in and it will be wet and miserable for four days.
On a more serious note, hope all of you in those tornado zones are safe and well.

We have been having absolutely perfect weather in Melbourne too. Another warm day tomorrow and then it's predicted to get cold and wet, which is a shame for the people wanting to have a short holiday over the Easter period. Then it's going to clear up and be warm again after the public holidays.

Yes - we dodged a bullet this time. The neighborhood just to the west of us had some major damage. My wife has a friend there she still hasn't been able to reach - her house pretty much had the roof torn off.
