HungerGamesDeal5 didn't work for me to buy the trilogy package (said it was invalid coupon) but HungerGamesDeal 2 and 3 worked to buy the two books of the series I needed for $1.56 each after tax Thanks! |

I just finished reading the Hunger Games so I used the "HungerGamesDeal2" to buy Catching Fire for about $1.80. However, when I submitted the order, it said my order could not be processed. I've heard that sometimes if you go back and try again you get charged twice so I'm going to wait and see what happens. If I'm still not charged by the 31st I'll try again. Of course, Kobo just today charged my credit card for two books I bought a month ago so who knows what will happen. |

Are these good ePub or have they been Koboized?

I would assume so, although I didn't try. I've never had a problem changing font size on a Kobo book, with my Nook. I just have a problem with double spacing and jagged right margins. I have a Kobo book ("Chronicles of Sherlock Holmes") that has triple spaces in between paragraphs! Three blank lines! It is unreadable. I plan on ripping the DRM and reformatting it with Calibre before I even attempt to read it. |

I skimmed, it looks ok to me. But I also don't know what koborized is You can change font and font size, and the format is like a regular book |

There has been an issue with some ePub sold via Kobo where there system has made changes to the ePub and basically added a bunch of javascript and a different CSS such that the eBooks are awful. One of the side effects if the font cannot be changed and since it can, it's not been Koboized.

Thanks for posting this deal - I got all 3 books for $3.06 total ($0.83 + $1.07 + $1.16). Of course now I feel like such a hypocrite 'cause only yesterday a friend asked me if I planned to read them and my response was a firm "no". Hey, at these prices, I might as well give them a try, right? |
