The other benefit of box.com over dropbox.com is that it is not firewalled by my employer.

To get the 50GB for free, you need an Android device (or this or this or this) to set up the account. Then you can access it from anywhere.

Is that box.com 50GB available in any way for non-Android users?
Actually, when Apple announced that it would be using Cloud Storage last year, Box.com initially offered 50 GB free (for a limited time). Looks like the same offer was made to Android users now.

Yes, I have that problem too, I work around it by using my own personal cloud with a TonidoPlug at home. I have a TeraByte drive connected to it, so it's virtually unlimited at my upload speeds.

The only trouble with it is the UI is a bit cludgy.

I'm finding that the updated UI for PogoPlug is a reasonably smooth experience.

I networked my Box.com account so I can access it directly in Windows Explorer, but upload speed is just a pittance compared with uploading through IE. Seems fishy.
