Long about 6:00pm, I decided to do some yard work. My arm felt like complete crap when I finished, so I took a shower, climbed into my jammies and took a few Vicodin to make the pain go away.

I was just starting to really feel high as a kite when the doorbell rang. It was my new neighbor, Theresa.

T: "Hi, do you feel like coming over?"

Me: "I'm high, sure."

T: "Your arm??"

Me: "Yup. Is it ok if I stay in my jammies?"

T: "Sure."

Me: "OK, I'll be over in a minute."

Now, what Theresa failed to tell me was that it wouldn't be just me and her. She also invited my other neighbors (who thankfully are my best friends).

BFFs: "Good LORD, girl, you mean to tell us you came to a social event in your PJs???"

Me: "But ... but .... but ..."

I had a couple of glasses of wine to top off my Vicodin. It was a wonderful evening. Put me in mind of nights in the dorm at UCLA. Just talking about nothing in particular and laughing our asses off.

We didn't leave until after midnight.

Yeah, my first week at Uni I was dragged out of bed and along to a party downstairs at about 2am. I was known for the next two months as 'pyjama girl'. Oh well. At least I was 'known'.

...and after getting through work, the spousal unit and I will be vanishing over the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary! If you don't hear from me for three days, you'll know I have my hands full of something other than mice and keyboards (for a change!).

Ahhhhhh finally Friday! Going home from work soon, will make some pizza, and watch the Croatia vs. Turkey soccer game tonight.

Last time I checked, there were no holes. But who knows, cheese with holes are a seller, so why not beer...
