Audible - Use one credit get 2 books!

Audible are having a buy one get 2 sale, if you have a credit on your account you can choose 2 books from 400+ and purchase them both for 1 credit

If you have more than one credit on your account you can visit the sale multiple times.

Offer ends March 1 at 11 AM ET (US).

I believe the offer is only available if you have a credit already in your account and probably only in the US store. Site was really sluggish earlier so I plan on taking a better look later.

I'm a US customer and have two credits but no go for me. Maybe it's because of my type of membership: I'm one of the original subscribers and I get 2 "Use 'em or lose 'em" credits per month.

You mean it works quickly sometimes? I always assumed sluggish was normal for Audible.

I always save up my credits just for offers like this..... I got six books for 3 credits this morning.

I have 4 saved up ....

I'll definitely get the Ivan Doig memoir (he grew up w/ hubby). I'm still trolling thru the lists, looking to see what else will bite.

ETA - I'm tempted by Peter Hamilton's Pandora'a Star - at 37 hours, it would last for weeks, listening in the car.

I only picked up two books (I had six credits to use) although there are a couple of others I'm considering, if I have a chance to look again before the sale is over.

Maybe every two months? I usually save up a bunch, and then use them with the "use 4 credits, get $10 coupon" deal. This deal was particularly nice, so I loaded up on some good non-fiction.

My audible membership has been pretty nice. Got the $100 off an ipod when I signed up and since have received two free books posted here and a bought a couple during their $4.95 deals. Now I finally use 2 of my credits and get 4 really good books I have wanted.

I had 5 credits saved up. Got a Fahfrd and Gray Mouser title and a David Weber title - A Beautiful Friendship.

Then.. I spent two more on the last two stand-alone novels by Joe Abercrombie - Best Served Cold and The Heroes. Lots of good listening.
