I devoured everything I could find by Burroughs when I was a teenager, and that was quite a lot. At one time I had many First Editions, and an almost complete set of his books from ACE and BALLANTINE.

I loved all of his work, and through this enjoyment I graduated to other authors and then to 'sword and sorcery,' which eventually led to my love of 'horror' fiction.

Edgar Rice Burroughs was, indeed, a wonderful storyteller. I credit him with opening up my mind to the ways of imagination.

I downloaded HarryT's Barsoom omnibus, now I want to reread all the Tarzan books. As if my TBR list wasn't long enough. *sigh*
