I come before you today with a major announcement. After many long days of deliberation and counting the bribes, I mean, tallying the recommendations of my closest advisors, I have been informed by Marc that he wants Patricia to be the VP candidate for the Montsnmags Party ticket in 04.

This announcement's timing in no way has anything to do with the unfortunate incident at the pie eating contest in the Iowa Caucuses.

In order to get the damn media to forget about the pie eating contest, I mean, receive our message as we ant it presented, the following arbitrary and non-negotiable staffing appointments have been made to our campaign:

DixieGal is the Human Resorces Manager and Bribe Accountant

VivaldiRules is the Chief of Security and has a line on

Secretary of Homeland Security

Marc is Campaign manager and Arbiter of Reality

Zelda can be the Ambassador to France if she ever uses one of my avatars. She can have a Caribbean posting if she uses two.

Bruce is the Press Secretary and therefore the face of the campaign.

Patricia is the VP candidate and therefore has no official duties other than having a pulse.

Yvan is the offical Platform Carpenter.

hmm... i feel a change of avatar coming on...

(caribbean posting would be nice, but only for vacations, ok ? i like living here, despite the generally abominable weather. plus you know (being a pale city-dweller who never sees the light of day) i sunburn easily.)

How about special envoy to Barbados? that way you only have to go there for "fact finding" trips.

Like this little gem: If you lay about on a beach and drink umbrella drinks all day and use lots of sunscreen, you get drunk and tanned.

i'm eminently qualified for any job that involves laying about on beaches and drinking umbrella drinks (especially if i don't have to make them). i'd be happy to do further research on the question though.

in fact, a job like that might even dissuade me from daydreaming about retirement 50 times a day.

As Chief of Security and possible future Secretary of Homeland Security, I do hereby declare that we are invading Ohio at noon tomorrow unless the Governor there releases all bacon in that rogue state to our campaign staff (I'll come pick up personally, thank you very much) and promises never to do whatever it was that made Ohio come to my mind in the first place. We all know that Ohio is one of those 42 states of evil here in our blessed United States (although I just can't quite remember why; but that's irrelevant - they have bacon). You may now return to your regularly scheduled car ride. Car ride?? Did somebody say car ride???
