Well, I didn't see the 13 ghosts till much later, on reruns on Cartoon Network, normally around Christmas time, that I never really thought about it being incomplete.

What I do find irritating was that a lot of the original series are not available on DVD (Especially Laff-A-Olympics). Come on! I want to give them money!

And while I could probably find most of them on torrent sites, I don''t really want to do that.

I cringe every time I see a new post in this thread because it shoves in my face the memory of so many hours lost uselessly in front of a television. I have to say, though, that I am still enamoured with the Dick Van Dyke and Andy Griffith shows. I only saw these in syndication in the late 60's and 70's but they were so much fun that I had to buy the DVDs of them recently and I still laugh out loud at them.

And seeing a new post makes you wonder, why am I here again?

I loved the episode where the stuffed armadillo came to life. Night Court was a great show. For the rest, Harry, a lawyer without a date is the only one home one weekend when an outgoing politician is making appointments, is given a judgeship and introduces common sense and magic tricks to the courtroom. Bull is a ~6' 8" bald headed slightly dim-wit with a heart of gold is one of the balliffs. Dan the Assistant DA, a self styled ladies man, is a huskter that never forgives Harry for getting the job that should have been his.

It came on just before Cheers on the NBC network. My boss at the time loved Cheers and would never watch Night Court. I would watch Night Court and then turn the set off. To each their own.

I've always had a horrible sense of time, and I don't remember much either. But I think Star Trek TNG, Saved by the Bell, and Beyond 2000 were probably my favs. I could only watch intermittently as my grandma/nanny was also the city nanny in some ways(small town). So I remember other shows like Howard the Gnome(I think was the name), Smurfs, and several other big name shows that I only kept the eyes on to pass time and didn't pay attention much.

I always preferred playing with my blocks..... *cough* and still do. Except the Nova Specials and other such edutainment things. :P

Oh, if they'd have had Discovery Channel and the Sci-Fi Channel when I was a kid, they'd have never pried me away from the set.

While I did like Discovery and NatGeo when I was younger, the channel I became addicted to when visiting my father during the holidays was Tech TV that had just started at that time.

I remember being devastated when I couldn't watch it any more.

I'm now addicted to TWIT and Rev3 content now
