Agreed. It is just far too vague and it makes no sense that he would be allowed back in to his Kindle account but no other accounts. The pieces just don't fit.

Tend to agree with the sentiment moving away from the OP. Amazon have been nothing short of fabulous in my experience:
- giving me three lighted covers when I had three unlighted ones which occasionally crashed some of the Kindles - offering me a £50 Kindle keyboard when my fifty-six week device developed a nasty rattle with something which could jam in the rocker switch and keep turning pages - calling back ten minutes later to say on reflection that should never happen, and giving me a brand new Kindle to replace the same fifty-six week old device - handling some great returns when their system was down and I had to get postage labels organised for some large Amazon fulfilled articles - turning a blind eye to the fact my Kindle Touch lives in the UK - always reponding immediately to that "call me now" button 1984 was badness. They apologised and haven't done anything similar since. I am not worried. amjb |

Hello all --
Just wanted to update that I still have not received any updates on my amazon appstore/mp3/video content yet. Yes, I thought it is extremely weird that Amazon allowed partial access to my account. I have previously e-mailed them stating that if they allowed partial access, can't they just allow access to the whole thing? Currently I am still not able to view past orders, view currently apps, mp3s and videos. Here is my latest e-mail I received from the amazon: Hello, This is in response to your recent phone contact inquiry regarding your account and access of Kindle, app store content. We closely examined your account, your order history, and your related accounts to ensure that any decision regarding your account was made according to our policies. We will not reopen your closed Amazon.com accounts. This decision is final. Keep in mind that our decision regarding this matter will not change. As your account is closed, you will not be able to access the App store content that you've purchased. Please note that you'll still be able to purchase Kindle content and access the “Manage Your Kindle” services for your account using below link. www.amazon.com/manageyourkindle Thanks for your understanding. Best regards, Account Specialist It is odd, because when I go to amazon.com/manageyourkindle, it prompts me to enter my e-mail and pass and lets me log on. However, if I click "manage digital content" or "your account" to view other options, it makes me reenter my information and gives me the "this e-mail and password do not match." I'll keep you guys updated on what Amazon decides to do next -- IF I can get a response back. I've cc'd my recently e-mail to Jeff Bezos, just to see if I can get another response back. ALSO -- Is there any way to add screen shots to my posts so I can show you guys exactly what is going on? I don't see a option, and print screen and paste doesn't seem to work.
