I read somewhere that he dictates them all. I don't know if that makes it better or worse.

You might be right nefario eventhough in my humble opinion still coming up with all of those tales that fast must be a super human stunt in itself.

Back on topic: I am curious about the forthcoming june 2012 bundle? When can I exxpect it to make its appearance on the site? I am rather curious about what books baen is going to use to make up the bundle. I still need to read through more of the January bundle so that I can get to the February 2012 bundle, that one is a must read in my opinion. I may need to skip a month or two to catch up with the reading. I think I have finally found how to feed my adiction for litterature without: a) breaking the bank and b) breaking the book shelves in my basement.

The timetable for the June bundle will be:

1. Initial release in March with new books half complete.
2. Update in April with new books three-quarters complete.
3. Final complete release in May.

Excellent answer harry, let me get a bit more general then I have before. Are all of the bundles acording to that schedule: three months before the start of the month the bundle makes it appearance and is complete one month before the start of the month?

I think yes for the "Monthly Baen Bundles" (formerly Webscription). For other bundles like, for example the "Charles Sheffield Bundle Volume I" not so much.

Yeah, I'm not sure when they changed the name, but webscription.net now redirects to baenebooks.com

Follow him on twitter (@davidweber1). About a week ago he mentioned working on an Honorverse Compendium. I think it's scheduled for 2013, for the 20th anniversary of the series.

I think there was some info about it on the Baen Bar too (or maybe it was the forum on Weber's site).

Just snagged a copy of the March 2012 bundle, there is a must read for me in that bundle - the David Weber book. There isn't any must reads in the next bundle so I think that I will look into some of the older bundles. Seems odd the the older bundles are smaller and cheaper then the new ones are, seems that at the time baen was not really sure if anyone was going to buy the bundles so they did not put much into them. When they caught on baen must have started to put more books into the bundles and more thought into each bundle. I guess I have seen one of baen's better marketing strategies catch on.

The old bundles aren't smaller. The way it works is that you get 4 new books in each bundle, plus whatever older books Baen reissued that month (a pretty random number). Thus, the minimum bundle size is 4 books; there is no maximum size.

The price increased from $12 to $18 a few years ago.

I've bought every bundle from when they started (which was, I think, around 1998).
