I have a colleague, a Japanese girl (well, woman - in her 20s anyway) who calls me "T-chan", which I like because I think it sounds nice, but also because of the irony of making the ultimate diminutive of my real name (which isn't Taylor but starts with "T") longer, thus making it it doubly diminutive. It makes no sense. Perfect.
