I have paid full price for just released ebooks. But they are new books, from an author I REALLY like.

Mostly, I will put them in a wishlist and wait until the price drops to the "normal" price.

I only pay full price for paper books, and only then for books that I'm so excited/desperate to read that I've pre-ordered them months in advance. I think I'd only pay full price for an ebook if it was cheaper than the paper version, and I really wanted it. Usually I just wait for a sale.

Hardcover price is so high that I wouldn't pay it anyway, so if the Ebook is the same price as the Hardcover I'll check the online Library for it, and if they don't have it, I'll wait for it to come to paperback so the eBook will be cheaper.

My comfort level for Books is about $15, you can always find something good to read while waiting. But if the book was really good I would consider paying that price.

No, because I rarely bought hardcover books unless they were on the 50% off table. Now if there's a used paperback available for cheaper than the ebook, I buy the used copy. But mostly I just find something else to read and put the book on ereaderiq.com. Funny thing though, sometimes when ereaderiq.com sends me an email telling me the price has gone down, I realize that I'm no longer interested.

Personally, I will not purchase any eBook that has a price that is higher than the hard cover or paperback prices. There is no good reason why the digital version should be more expensive than the paper versions. There have been several books on Amazon that I went there to purchase, and exited without purchasing them for that very reason.

I guess I'm just a sap, because I would pay almost any price they asked for my favorite author, Stephen King, but he's the only one I feel that way about. All the others I try to get from one of my libraries, or wait for a price drop.
