Oh - cool, was thinking I may end up axing some I wanted to keep - Namely the ones that are short, 2001: A Space Odyssey for example.

While a length listing would be most beneficial, I managed to find all subtitled ones by putting this in the main search window
title:"~(: .*)"

Then I can manually Ctr select the larger ones for treatment

You might try using Quantifiers: {12,} after the wild card.
(this one says 12 or more)

Quantifiers - no one told me about Quantifiers....

Sorry The Ducks, I still know too little about Python, to try your suggestion, as you didn't provide a specific example.
IN search and repalce
: .* - works replaces all with :

: .*{12,} - error
: .{12,}* - error
: .*12,

Main search
title:"~(: .*)" - Works matches all with :

title:"~(: .*{12,})" no matches
title:"~(: .*){12,}" no matches

I did try, but you need to give the actuall expression

PCRE might not like a total wildcard pattern used with quantifiers.
This Quantifier replaces the + or *

(123){4,} should find 4 or more repetitions of '123'

What I was trying to say is the range replaces the star or plus (that is after the dot in your case).
