In addition, as for the WiFi:
1. support invisible WiFi access point. I use invisible WiFi ssid at home and it makes me unable to log into my home network. 2. support WPS 3. when the WiFi is lost, detect it! |

Not sure if you realize that you can do this with the Kobo now. The only difference (which is perhaps what you meant) is that with the Kobo you need to download the library book to ADE on to your computer first, then upload it to your Kobo. As I understand it you can directly download from library to the PRS-T1.

I use my "invisible" WiFi without problems (not transmitting SSID, secured with WPA-PSK and MAC-adress-whitelist) ...

There will be more updates. The Kobo website says that Pulse will be coming to the eReaders too.

I found a much better solution though. There is a newer book style case that the Kobo just slips into. I had to enlarge the hole at the bottom just a bit to get the syncing/power cord to fit, but it is a smart, attractive, professional looking case. Not cheap, but then the other one wasn't especially cheap either. Hope this helps. |

To be honest though my main complaint is with the kobo's power slider itself, give me a button or a proper on/off switch anyday. My old psp has a similar slider which was the first thing that broke on it! Hence i would still love to see resume by the HOME button as an option in the settings. Thanks for your feedback! |

No, I still have my T5, but it is retired. As good as it was at the time, my Windows Phone does more and is a better tool. The newer generation Palm devices got left behind; the better ones ran windows mobile. Then the WebOS devices suffered from build quality problems.
Bringing it back to Kobo: I agree with the previous poster's point; there is no need for a calendar. That is why you have a smartphone/PDA. |

(going back off topic).
I would rather have a PDA that was just that; and not one that is a PDA/Phone |

I don't remember if someone already asked, but it would great to access to the dictionnaries from the main menu or likewise. I'm French and read a lot of englishbooks, find my way through some english forum like this one and sometimes need to check some words. As for now, I have to open a book, highlight a word, ask for definition (or translation, though the kobo reader translation dictionnary is poor in my opinion as I find words' definitions for words that can't be found in the translation dictionnary), delete the word I highlighted and only then can I type the word I'm looking for.

The Tweaks-Plugin has the option to access the dictionary right from the home-menu: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=163997
