			Hi

Am new to the subject of readers. Am about to purchase my first reader and am pretty sure it will be a Nook touch. "Will probably wait until November to buy, when I understand a new version of the Nook will be on the market. I think most of my reading will be from historic, free, non-fiction books to start things - and then will move into fiction. Since I am quite new to readers I welcome any comments !! gene Washington, DC |

Hi Gene and welcome to MobileRead. Both the DC, Alexandria, Fairfax and most Maryland libraries have free eBooks you can download. Details in our Wiki at the top of the page.

A new user with a question

Have about 3 months experience reading - isn the Nook Touch but do have a question. Is the Touch capable of using the Web to log on to FOR EXAMPLE the Google site ? Have read that version 1.1 does NOT allow this but have also read that some users have been able to connect to the Web (with no rooting). Would appreciate if someone could give me an answer to this - is it yes or no. Sorry to post on this location, but could not figure out how to post on any of the other forums !!! geneb
