You're welcome Analogus
![]() nemiere: that's correct, the addons folder was getting too large. New revision is up now to fix the problem. |

On my PRS+ 650 Vers. 2.017 it didn´t work. After installing the files PRSPInstaller in the root of my device and the fonts in root fonts I am missing a Menue in the PRS+Settings/BookViewer/User EPUB Style AND the LRF Text Syle Menue is also dissapeared. ![]() So I reinstalled the 2.017 and everything was fine again. But now I have some more fonts to choose But the main reason, why I installed this patch ![]() "For each font three different font-sizes are included. Font sizes are choosen to get intermediate font-sizes between Sony's rather rough increments. So you'll have 3 not just 1 step between S and M (and of course M and L...). S ist too small, M ist too large? Knowing that problem? Choose annother CSS-file over PRS+ settings on your reader. Solved." Is not solved... Any idea what I did wrong? ![]() |

Your first problem:
Look a view posting above. That's the problem quisvir mentioned. It should be corrected for the 650 in my custom builds. Try it out, you can revert any time as you know. But you see, they are custom builds which could (very seldom) have problems. Your second 'thing': For intermediate steps in font sizes you need to choose other CSS-files. E.g. Droid-1 instead of Droid-0. If that doesn't work, try annother EPUB-file. Some ebooks (epubs) aren't able to change that simple way. That's why I wrote 'in most cases...'. That sounds cumbersome, but if you assign a button or user gesture to do this (PRS+ options in custom build) that's very quick. I use it every day! For example: choose font size S. Make it slightly lager? Choose annother CSS. ...-0 is smallest, ...-1 lager and ...-2 largest. Next font size would be M with ...-0. I do it that way (there is no other way round) since lots of weeks - you'll get used to it. In short: Try annother ebook and look if that works. A. Edit: I forgot to ask: Did you use 2.0.17 for changing the CSS-file? If so, it's indeed a bit cumbersome to change the CSS-file (that's why I love the custom builds): 1) close book 2) change CSS-file over PRS+ options 3) open ANOTHER book 4) close it 5) open the old one You have to REOPEN the old book. That's what it means. In custom build that's not necessary. The PRS+ team is making good work and progress in this great little gem of software. Last edited by Analogus; 01-24-2012 at 11:33 AM. |

Minor glitch for latest custom builds?
Since at least a week I observe a glitch with the dictionary: Frame conditions: -PRS+ custom build from today (20-01-2012) -PRS350 -no code tweaking of PRS+ Observation and way to glitch: 1) Open dictionary as stand alone application 2) Switch to German - English 3) Try write something with the letter 'a' at the beginning 4) Reader will RESET Further observations: -This was not the case with older (> 1 month) PRS+ cb's -It doesn't occur with all dics, but at least with DE-EN and EN-ES; not with EN-DE -words beginning with 'b' upward no problem -I made cb's without games - same glitch -altering options for dics (position, number of lines) doesn't matter A. Edit: Pulling back! --> it has clearly something to do with SUBSTITUDE system-fonts. . It seems to be no good idea to alter tt0011m_.ttf and/or tt0003m_.ttf at all... I think everything is OK with PRS+ - it's just than d***n fonts... Last edited by Analogus; 01-29-2012 at 03:54 PM. |

Change log for 2.0.15 RC:
600/x50: Close reading popup menu (dict etc) and cancel selection by tapping page (quisvir) My 650 doesn't keep the word selected when I open the full dictionary page for details. When I close it the selection is gone. I thought this was fixed by the change above. My old 600 worked fine. Can this be fixed in PRS+ or only by Sony in their firmware? Thanks |

In my understanding the change doesn't 'fix' something. It adds something:
The possibility to close the dic and remove selection with a tab on the screen. It's now not longer necessary to close the dic using the small 'X'. A. |

That's cool, I have to try it. Too bad the word doesn't remain selected, sometimes it's hard to resume reading without it, when you spend some time in the dictionary.

When I put my PRS-350 in sleep mode with the power switch (like I always do when reading, I never shut it down fully) in Sudoku, usually the next time I turn it on the battery is completely drained. It's as if the game keeps running even though the reader is in sleep mode.
Is this a known issue and you should never go in sleep mode while a game is running, or something weird with my reader or a PRS+ bug? |

Thanks for the info, I'll just make sure I go back to my book before putting it in sleep.

Help with additional icons in CB:
I try to add icons to the home menu. No problem so far, when the function-name is found in 350_config.js. For example: Code:
// big icons shown in home menu HOME_BOOK_HISTORY: 2, But I don't know the function-names for e.g. CALCULATOR. It's not mentioned wether under Code:
// big icons shown in home menu Code:
// Home menu icons for default nodes Last edited by Analogus; 02-05-2012 at 05:12 AM. |

Which icon is used by an addon is defined in the addon's own js. For instance, in Calc.js you will find a line that says:
Code:
icon: "CALC" |
