If the publishers weren't so dickish, I wouldn't mind seeing an abandonware equivalent for books. I mean, those cats are pretty cool over all, and tend to be pretty respectful. Most of the big sites keep an eye on things, and when a game is available through legal means, they'll pull their copy and link to where you can buy the game at. I mean, you really can't ask for more. It keeps up interest in the product, and when it can be purchased, they encourage people to do so.
