oh mindy, i'm pretty sure you were there. you probably just drank one (or 7) too many Zany Carter Deluxes, and can't remember. it could also be a side effect of the time difference (talk about jetlag...).

I tried to find a lampshade that would fit, but couldn't, until I tried to chat up the other Adrian. The conversation was going fine until he made a broadly sweeping gesture and inadvertently crushed my dome. Fortunately most of my brain is in hyperspace. It was a thoroughly depressing party. "Now I have a headache".

I sat in the corner, or tried to, but couldn't find one. None of the room's angles seemed to converge. I wandered around inspecting the room's dimensions for hours and hours, reciting Jabberwocky. Pretty soon I was on the other side of the Mobius strip from everyone else and couldn't reach the platter of Sparkly Fairy skewers. So instead I composed this poem:

Mobius strips
down at the Wet Spot
the blue one, next to the fish
is a lawyer

As per your suggestion, which I always take most seriously, on the first page of my moleskin (the buggers put up a fight, but they're blind and no match for skillful handling of the tunnel-gaff) is tattooed "Chinese people tie their toes in knots so they cannot grow any". However, inside the front cover is now stamped the above, and ever will be on every future dead mole, or even every Moleskine should I reduce the local mole population too much (it's doubtful - the little ground-burrowing buggers have discovered explosives and I note that the local library has lost all its copies of "Mine Blasting for Dummies").

Thats easy to fix. Just get some exploants. They love to eat mole-made explosives, just for the taste of it.
Of course you afterwards will have to be careful where you step - stepping on an ant loaded with explosives can hurt.
