Morning OJ, and my mug of Peet's Major Dickason's coffee. But now the mug is empty and it's time to brew some tea. Hmmm. I think today will be an all India Black day. Let's start out with a good 2nd Flush Darjeeling. Hmmm. Poking around the cupboard, I see some Risheehat Estate. Haven't had that in a while.

I was just thinking of those who no longer post to MobileRead since the New Year began... schedules change, priorities change, mood changes.... I hope they are all doing well.

Good morning, all. Bright sun and freezing temps today... but steaming "Assam T.G.F.O.P.#1" in my cup to keep me warm. I'm undecided about breakfast.... Getting bored with my choices and need to expand my thinking... What I'd really like is Malaysian 'Murtabak' but I don't have the huge griddle needed for the roti.

A glass of uninspiring Pinot Grigio. Or that's what the label claimed. Should have just said "Generic White Wine with too much acid and no flavour or nose".

But, in the mail today -- three teas from China that I'll be sampling starting tomorrow. A Keemun, a Lapsang Souchong, and a Ti Kwan Yin Oolong. All claimed to be very special grades, so I'm looking forward to trying them.

A lovely late afternoon Ceylon Dimbula. It's a bit thin when used as directed, as I find most Dimbula to be, but by doubling the amount of tea, works very nicely!

Gin and bitter lemon before dinner. (This is a cheaper gin rather than the Bombay Sapphire we had a while ago. i'm going to have to try that on ice to follow Stitchawl's example.)
