PRS-T1 Question About Rooting

In the minimal root set, can I add/remove apps from the list "minimal-root\sdcard\updates\data\app\" before I run flashreader.bat? or will that mess up the process? For example, I don't want dropbox, so could I replace that apk with another one that I wanted?

Yes, but remember to modify the "checksums" file and remove the old and add the new md5 hash.

What is the Gallery3dFroyo.apk in the minimal root package? What does it do?

That's the stock Android picture gallery app (at least it looks like it, don't know whether it's modded in any way). Does not work too good on e-ink, imho.

Should be ok according to http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Barebones, but I didn't try it

I removed Gallery3dFroyo.apk two weeks ago and have had no problems.
