Review: Case for Vox

Had my Vox since christmas, and am loving it. I wanted to get a case for it, so I ordered the WOWcase from Skindigital on ebay.

I got it last Thursday, and have been using it ever since. Overall, I quite like it, and would recommend it.
Build quality - Surprisingly good, it is evenly and strongly stitched, no ragged edges, very well put together
Fit/Size - Fits like a glove. It has an open side that one slides the Vox in from, the other 3 sides closed, with cut outs for ports and buttons. It has a retaining fold over velcro piece to keep the Vox from coming out the open side. The cut outs are in the right places to access everything (including the micro SD card) and big enough to be useful.
Standing - It has a tongue on the back that the cover can be folded into, so the case becomes a stand. It works, but only on perfectly flat, even surfaces, needs improvement.

Looks pretty good.

I have the $40 Indigo book cover (was a gift). I had to hack a section out so I can see the indicator light, but with this one it would be easy with a leather punch. How long did it take to arrive?

I got this nice leather case for $12 plus S & T. I had to pay the shipping because it had to come directly from the distributor in the US, not Amazon.

It's meant for the Kindle Fire but it fits the Vox fine and the edges are open for access to plugs and switches. No cutting or punching required. I'm not thrilled about the pinky/purple colour, but, hey, the price was right!

I have a zipper one, I bought off ebay, a little cheaper, but yours looks nicer.

This one certainly looks nicer than much more expensive black leather WERX case for the vox I got a futureshop which does not fit properly and doesn't have a hole for the sensor or light either one.

oldyellr, I don't think you need to punch a hole, it already has a notch for the light and a hole for the sensor too, unfortunately it looks like the black one is sold out, just blue and purple available now.

I got the Hip Street Executive case for Blackberry Playbook at WalMart. Nice faux leather with a zipper and pockets inside. Held in by straps over the corners. I quite like it

I have been using the Playbook leather envelope case with a magnetic closure. It fits perfectly. It's perfect for me because I like using the Vox without a cover. It easily slips out of the envelope when I want to use it. The way the envelope case is made, it prevents the power button from being accidentally pushed while I am carrying it around in my purse. And I love the colour, the one I have is purple (it does come in black too). I got mine on sale for $15.99 at The Source.
