Happy Birthday carnivroar!

I forgot to mention that when I bought my jetBook Lite, I figured that my average book purchase was $15.00. My calculations included either the book plus shipping or the book plus gasoline and sales tax.

My jetbook Lite came with 100 free eBooks, which I started into right away. At fifteen dollars a book, I figured that my device paid for itself in three months, just reading public domain material.

Thanks!

I got the Sony one.

I LOVE it!!!

I'm so glad I decided to research a little more and find the best one for me.

I'm downloading so many free books that I don't know which to read first!

Yes, the free books are worth the price of admission - free books from Amazon or elsewhere. To me the best feature of the Amazon Kindle store is the free previews. The first chapter of every book is free. This definitely saved me a lot of time and money over the years. I won't buy a book unless I've sampled it first.
