You will need the Fire Edition of the BABM and then you just press on the home screen and widgets then find scroll till you see it. It's just a battery gauge with icon that shows the percentage and when tap it, it takes you to BABM stats page.

Nice, I like the looks of the new version, but wish they would add charging/discharging current display.

Why root? I rooted because it allowed me to further optimize my Fire experience a bit and to tweak some program data files. But around 98% of the time I'm running in regular, not rooted, mode.
So let's talk about those tweaks. By rooting, I have been able to block most ads from the browser, speeding my browsing experience. I've been able to "cheat" at a few games. I've been able to get at the WEP/WPA key for any network that I've registered it on, which was very helpful when one of our cats destroyed (by spilling a pint of water) my 11-month-old Mac Air, and I was travelling with a new one. So there's really no need to root for most people. I'm just pushing the use cases a bit further than most. |

After my Fire giving me a infinite boot sequence. I can no longer recommend Go! Launcher or Rotating Wallpaper apps. Now I can't say it's the cause because after the last firmware update I had not restarted the Fire till today but it might have been a combo.
All I know is my Fire is useless now ![]() |
