Upon the passing of Dr. Seuss I wrote the following poem in tribute.

But what about the cattle? Where are they? Why would there be cattle egrets in the field if there were no cattle? Don't you think you should tell us about them? And are they black, brown, or Oreo cattle? Makes a difference, you know. I don't rightly care for cattle unless their Oreo cattle. And why is the field swamped? We haven't had rain here in, gosh (Gordon Raymond Bennett), like, forever. All the grass is brown, not green. Good grief, man, get it right!
