Downgrading Kindle Touch

Hi all,
I updated my KT to 5.0.3, but I wanna use some features such as rotation mode which is not compatible with this version, so I want to roll back to the previous version 5.0.0. What shall I do? Is Factory Reset suitable for that?
Is it recommended to roll back to the previous version?

A Factory Reset will not change the firmware version. It will just remove all of your data, and revert preferences to the factory default.

I haven't ever heard of anyone successfully downgrading to a prior version of the firmware.

You'd have to have a copy of the 5.0.0 bin file to roll back. Since it was the version the Kindle shipped with, I don't think there is a download of it anywhere...

Now that I think about it, I am pretty sure that screen rotation was never available on the Touch. I remember reading a lot of complaints about it.

I believe the OP is talking about a "hack" which, one assumes, no longer works with the upgraded firmware.
