Problem removing books

I've just updated Calibre from 0.8.35 to 0.8.36 and the following problem appeared: when i try to remove files of a specific format from a book or a group of books, using either of the 2 buttons ( Remove files of a specific format or Remove all formats except...) , GUI shows the files removed but they are still in their folder .
I would be grateful for any help solving this problem.

It's a bug, that affects the removing formats from a book (deleting books is unaffected). Fixed in the next relase. In the meantime, either delete the files manually, after deleting them in calibre, or go back to 0.8.35.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I was worried that it could be some glitch in my PC. You've put my mind to rest. I'll wait for the next release.
