Rooibos Ginger. I had a large Sprite with my lunch.

So I made the CROWW bread a second time but used White Whole Wheat flour instead of WHole Wheat flour. It has less fiber, it is between White Flour and Whole Whaet Flour. I also cooked it to a medium crust instead of a dark crust. The bread is a lot less dense, I think it is the flour, and the crust is much better. The bottom is still a bit blacker then I like but it is not burnt the way that it was when I baked it on the dark setting. Next time I will try the Sweet Bread setting instead of the regular bread setting.

Some piping hot dihydrogen monoxide. Ran out of tea (shame) so...I'll wait for this to cool down a bit. I'm feeling extra lazy today, so the extra trip to the break room isn't something I'm wanting to do presently.

Just checked. Astra last posted 20th December, with a comment that they hoped to be back before the New Year.

I hope Astra is OK. I would guess that we'll be laughing about worrying about this soon (he said hopefully!).

It's a good day to be alive...

Good morning, all! Steaming mug of Taylor's of Harrogate's "Yorkshire" tea in front of me, with a plate of last night's lasagna to start the day. Nothing to do today but relax. I won't go for a ride today because the 'loaner' they gave me at the bike shop is a 250cc motor scooter that scares the living daylights outta me! The wheels are too small, the engine is too small, and the whole frame is just too damn small! I'll use it to get around the 'hood,' but I sure won't go a'roving!

I had a colleague who used to drink this as her normal beverage. I used to laugh at her, but she would just say, "don't laugh until you try it." It was a couple of years later that I got around to trying it, and do you know? She was right!! Plain hot water DOES taste good. Not as interesting as my teas, but certainly a beverage in it's own right. I've watched coffee drinkers swill so much of the stuff that the caffeine allows them to thread a sewing machine needle... while it's running. Hot water won't do that to ya!

Oh, I'll definitely drink the hot water on its own. I usually do that when I've got a bit of a cough and want to loosen up the goodness from the throat-ial region. It's good, sometimes. I was just really dejected that I had no tea. I was craving my peppermint tea, but there were no bags with which to steep.

And now, I've got a tall glass of milk that went with my breakfast wrap (peanut butter and banana on a wheat tortilla).

Finished two pots of Rooibos Jungle Fire and working on pot one of Rooibos Cream Caramel.

I like hot water with lemon or honey when I am feeling sick. It works wonders on the throat and I normally can't taste much anyway.
