Prices
Why is it the the Orizon costs more to purchase than the Odyssey? The Orizon costs $189.99. The Odyssey costs $159.99. That's a $30 difference. The Opus costs the same as the Odyssey ($159.99). So a five inch Vizplex screen without HSIS or a touch screen costs the same as a six inch Pearl display with HSIS and touch???

On Bookeen's shop Orizon is 140 € and Odyssey is 150 €. Resellers are free to set the prize as they see fit (not a direct quote from Bookeen's pages).

On the official Bookeen website these are the prices for Europe vs. USA:
Opus EUR 119.99, USD 139.99
Orizon EUR 139.99, USD 149.99
Odyssey EUR 149.99, USD, 159.99.
Gen3Gold EUR 159.99, USD 199.99

As you can see, the prices most expensive to cheapest is the same in Europe and in USA, BUT the difference and gaps are different. With the Gen3 beeing the most expensive in USA relatively compared to the Europe price.

Edit: These prices are as of right now, no gurantee that they will change any second now ....

I was actually talking about the Canadian prices. It is interesting that the Odyssey costs the same in the US as in Canada but the Orizon is $30 different.

Ghat is highly interesting. They either goofed up the Odyssey prices in Canada or they made it cheaper on purpose b/c of competitors with half of Canadiens speaking french ?

And I wound not say they made the Odyssey cheaper in Canada. Rather that they made the Orizon more expensive.
