Mari from the Escape in a Book book blog has been kind enough to list my books on her website and to set up an international giveaway. One person will win a copy of all three books in The Masters That Be fantasy series (The Seekers of Fire, The Makers of Light, The Weavers of Paths) — so please visit Mari’s website and sign up.

Hmmm, a Fantasy Author, eh?
So must we assume the author doesn't really exist? That she was created by a story in need of an author? I'm starting to feel some fear!

Hello Lynna, congratulations on your accomplishments. I am rather new to the game as well.
Check this out, some great pointers from a couple guys who made the dream happen by using social-marketing. Man it is overwhelming at first. http://blog.bookrix.com/tag/successful-ebook-authors/ Just make sure to get these three things all working and synchronized to revolve around you and lead to your main site, for example an amazon author page. 1)Twitter 2)Facebook 3)Blog A really easy tip I learned from a "How To Blog" eBook from Amazon is this.. Visit two blogs every single day, well working day, and leave some pertinent comments. Make sure they are blogs in either your target audience, or the eBook community in general. Tweet something at least 5 times a day. Retweet stuff, tweet informative things though not only just self promotion. I use my twitter as a way to advertise other peoples work, blog articles about eBooks, current events having to do with the technical aspect..etc Post or comment something on face book 3 times a day.Join groups, give good advice, do anything and everything you can to help other people be successful. Social-Networking is about forming personal, one on one relationships. The more you can do for other people, to help their books sell, the better it will be for you. You are not selling anything, remember that, *wink Write a blog post once a work day. As you get used to it, and I am still new myself, it gets quicker and easier. I truly wish you the best, may all your works bring you your dreams and then some, may your cup run over. Cheers! ---Damien p.s. Here is a blog/social-networking guide I bought, it was helpful for me. [link deleted - NO TINY URLS - MODERAT0R] Last edited by Dr. Drib; 03-27-2013 at 02:35 PM. |
