It wont ever be available for the Fire due to how it changes the UI and that's against Amazon's rules for Fire Apps. I am not using a beta version I got mine from 1Mobile.

When the Fire first came out it was available but then Amazon caught on and remove it from the approved list. Just like you wont ever see other ereader apps like Mantano this one will have to be sideloaded.

I agree. I am so much happier using Go Launcher. I do wish, however, that I was able to put a shortcut to whatever book I'm reading on the screen. It doesn't seem to allow shortcuts. Other than that, though, I much prefer it to the Kindle interface. I've been using an Android phone for a couple of years so it feels more natural to me.

The developer has version 2.76 available as a beta, and version 2.75 as the finished version.

It seems Amazon has removed the shortcuts feature. I miss it too. I use it alot on my phone.
