Considering getting a wireless accesspoint for in my rooms. We live in a very old building with thick walls and in my rooms (2 floors up from the router and 1 floor up from the extender/repeater) wifi reception often fails.

I'm planning on getting a tablet soon and I would like to have a good wifi connection in my rooms.

I am watching and being disgusted by one of the most insignificant NFL games of the Year. Bears v Vikings, eh. Bears fan for forty years, still not used to it. Good news it is 75 degrees in Tucson. Oh Hell Yeah, Happy New Year.

first coat on the pool! yippee. the first (ostensbily OK for expoxy) roller disintegrated early on. Poor bloke. Found another roller head and continued. Watching the clouds and little spits of rain.

Now we have to find another non-dissolving roller head for the second coat tommorrow seeing as the ones we bought specially ARE NO GOOD!

Man I have a headache. You must breath lots of poison mixing that stuff up. Good thing I don't do it for a living.

Sounds like you are having fun SS.

I am so glad we don't have a pool here. I spent too many years loving it during the summer and hating it during the rest of the year, due to the constant upkeep.

Right now, I am surrounded by all the collected papers and junk that just never got filed this year. I am trying to sort, file, shred, and collect important papers for income tax.

Maybe, I'll just take a break. I hear some chocolate calling to me from the other room.

hmmmmm chocolate. There is one in my fridge - dark with a tangy orange centre. Maybe I will room temp it for a while - then devour it!

Yum..

I have discovered a new favorite - dark chocolate acai with blueberry. It is described as "Smooth dark chocolate surrounding a sweetened real fruit juice piece, made from a blend of açai berry juice, blueberry juice and other select fruit juices."

My son's girlfriend loves them and gifted them to me. They are so rich tasting that you can't eat too many at once.

I'm excited! Yesterday we went to an electronics outlet to pick up some printer ink and saw a display for Sony readers. This is the first time I've seen them for sale here. I had to order mine from the US. Despite having mine for the past 2+ years, my wife never exhibited any special interest in them. She's a reader, but has always been happy with paper books, but we were looking at the new Sonys. Today, at a computer shop, she asked me where the e-reader section was, wanting to look at them some more...

I think we have another convert! I'll buy her one tomorrow.

I have converted two of my three kids (youngest is only 9

), but my wife is proving to be recalcitrant on the matter, still preferring paper to eInk or similar. I'm still working on it though...

Thank you for sharing! It was quite amazing and worth it, I agree. You have some nice photos and I went back a few pages to see them all. I wanted to see what you had labeled on the "labeled image" but I couldn't get the text larger on my laptop.
