Having a bit of post Christmas blues. After two busy weeks there's nothing I want to do more than curl up with a good book or play the new computer game I got for Christmas. But another busy week is coming up and except for two hours off this afternoon I'm working all week.

There's a plus side, of course, working extra means extra money which means that I might be able to get my Asus Transformer Prime tablet on the day of release (price isn't yet known).

Good news is that my replacement Kindle is on its way right now and should arrive today. Tonight I'm going to organise the new Kindle and wipe the old one so I can send it back this week.

Thanks, it's my pleasure sharing such an amazing event. I did get some sleep, but was at it again this morning @ 02:50. My sleeping pattern seems to now be synched with the rise/set of Comet Lovejoy. Don't know how I'll handle the work day tomorrow, especially if I try to image again.

The 2nd "tail" in the image is actually the Milky Way in the background. The comet is getting more difficult to see now due to the bright background of the Milky Way. People with much better equipment have managed to capture images showing a "split" in the tail. There are actually two tails, one ion and one dust tail.

Wasn't sure what the crud was, but I guess from Nyssa's post it means you're ill, so get well soon. At least it's a good excuse to put your feet up and get some reading done.

"The crud" usually means cold/flu/allergy/congestion type illnesses or generally being "under the weather".

I'm sorry... You may have caught it from me. I've been down for the past 6 days, but it seems to be clearing up now. I don't do well with a cold... And poor Felicity! She wants to run and be chased, and I don't have the energy to run after her! I guess that's what your newfie is suffering too!

I am putting my convalescence to good use. I am re-doing my web site. Entirely new facade, completely new gallery layouts, re-worked articles and travel blogs, etc., etc., etc! I can now fully understand why I've put this off for the past several years....

In the past I've maintained two different sites; one for family and friends, and one strictly as a photographic gallery for sales. I decided to shut down one site, and meld the contents together, removing the more familial information, leaving the travel articles, and increasing the photographic content by updating the galleries with recent images.

Next time I get the notion to do something like this... I'll hire a web designer to do it for me.
