will bloatware reappear

If one has removed unwanted apps and replaced the start up sound will running this latest update undo this?

It did for me. Unrooted and everything.

Wouldn't take long to do it all again now that I know how....just haven't gotten around to it.

I re-rooted and removed the bloatware. Jefftheworld's how-to still works.

the Rdio folder that I deleted by mistake did not come back with the update (my Vox is rooted)
I just removed the balance of the apps that I didn't want using Jeff's instructions as well. Everything went smoothly, exactly as his guide explained.

OK so bloat ware comes back. Sounds like the update is not a patch but the whole system sent out with updates to it. I wonder if their start up sound would be back as well.
Now how often are you willing to re-delete the files.
I am not bothering with the update since it was not able to address the SOD issue at this time. I don't need faster page turns and a fancy book shelf or even antique looking pages. Better control of the brightness would be nice but I put Screenfilter on so all is good.
