Those two I've read. Thanks for the list. And I seem to recall reading Three Blind Mice.

Does chronological/reading order matter with either her Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot series?

Not too much, but you may not want to read the last two of either series (Curtain, and whatever the last Marple mystery was named) before reading everything else.

The last Jane Marple mystery was Sleeping Murder. Both it and Curtain were published (at Christie's request) postumously, beginning with Curtain (the last Hercule Poirot mystery).

In the HarperCollins e-editions of the Agatha Christie books that I've tried, there's usually an included reading guide by some Christie scholar (Charles something, IIRC), which gives a modest non-spoilery product-description-type blurb type synopsis for each book in order, and warns you about which previous books reading that book will happen to spoiler you for, because of the characters discussing the outcome/plot details of said previous book. It's pretty handy, and exists in both Poirot and Marple forms. Or you could try this promo freebie in the Deals forum which also includes 3 Christie short stories: Clues to Christie, which is additionally available at Sony and iTunes (not listed in the links, I should add an update). |

Concernig Peter Pan, it was a long overdue read for me and I enjoyed it, and especially liked the gutenberg.org version that I chose for it's embedded footnotes explaining most of the Edwardian era slang used in the book. | |
