okay, I have uploaded a new release (0.0.1.1).

I have removed the calibre importing code, so I am hoping it will not crash for people.

Have a look at it and let me know how it goes.

For me all works fine!

I will send you tomorrow a screenshot. The buttons seem to be misplaced a bit.

The counter of my collection SciFi is also a bit strange:
I have 6 books in that collection.
I see 3 books and the counter says: (1-2 of 6).
Then I hit the button on the right side (->) and I get the next 3 books and the counter says: (4-2 of 6).
Then I hit the button (->) on more and I see the last book cover (I have seen that book also on the second page) and the counter: (6-6 of 6).

First of all: Are you showing 3 covers every time - not sometimes 4?
If you have everytime a maximum of three cover you could calculate the exact position. I will make a picture to show what I mean. -> The book covers are not in a column for the three shown collections.

How many lines do you have for the text under a cover?

I thought I had fixed that, but I will take a look today.

I am trying to make it flexible enough that we can choose a 'zoom' small, medium, large for the size of the books displayed. This will change the number of items displayed, so I am calculating the numbers displayed.

(update: 0.0.1.2 released which should fix this issue)

I'm going to be out of communication for two weeks at the beginning of January, so I would like everyone to send me any little thing that they would like fixed/updated/added and I will see what I can get done while I'm away.

if something is broken, please let me know.
if you want it to do something new also let me know.

(BUT: I can't change the way the reader app works. automatic page turns, font size or anything).

you have to use deodex and baksmali and a java decompiler.

first step is to reverse the odex file into a classes.dex (deodex)
then decompile the dex files into a jar (baksmali)
then decompile the java jar file (jave decompiler)

Thanks for the answer. What I want to do is to look at the reader app and see how it interfaces to the dictionary. If I can figure out the intent broadcasted by the reader then I will be able to replace the dictionary action with another one.

There is nothing wrong with the dictionary app other than the fact that it does not allow one to replace any of the dictionaries.
