Ahh - Gilled Vigneault is the Québecois poet and composer who wrote Mon Pays back in the late '60s and Gens du Pays later. He's very famous in Québec. I think I shall check out that book and CD combination. My d/l is from Québec, and they just had a daughter last May.

I listen to Pandora at work (my "station" is called "The Chieftains Radio" if anyone wants to give it a shot). I have very eclectic tastes, and Pandora often suggests different things to listen to. this was one of them and I immediately was hooked on it and looked it up. obviously you immediately (and somewhat eerily

) came to mind
