I agree on one thing. Putting chickens in cups isn't the way to go! Putting one in the oven or a skillet(?) is though! Though, it seems for DGM's recipe, it's some hot boiling water...

To add to Sweetpea's previous comments, a standard U.S. cup is 8 fluid ounces. Fluid measures work out as follows:

8 fluid ounces = 1 cup

4 cups = 1 quart

4 quarts = 1 gallon

On the subject of Santa Chicken, sorry to reveal the truth about him but it had to be known. Santa Chicken brings joy to children by providing them with tasty chicken meals. However, he is opposed by the Anti-Santa Chicken and the two are locked in a long-term struggle.

Sorry, but I must disagree. Frying, broiling, and baking are the only ways to properly cook chicken. I can get a kettle of boiling oil ready (using the Good Eats method of safely frying a turkey) to prepare the chicken to be delicious.
