Maybe since the biggest "show stopper" issue of the touch screen page turning problem is fixed we will get that fix next. |

This update is applicable for PRS-T1 (1.0.03.11140) to address the following issues: - Improved touch panel functionality - Improved stability when searching the dictionary - An Internet connectivity problem which only appears under certain conditions is fixed. - Improved DRM contents compatibility ----------------------------------------------------------------- My issue was the page flipping & freeze. I wonder if the improved touch panel functionality will address this? |

I actually just posted in the other thread but was thinking a different approach, seeing if we can always override by using using the @font-face CSS to point to the system fonts (technique discovered by seabee). If the font information is removed from the epub via the filter, does that effectively fix the issues when selecting Amasis from the Reader UI as an example? |

I saw your post on the other thread. I just wonder, when you code the use of a certain font into the book, if this will make the reader use this font and again be blocked, when it comes to switching via the UI.

About your question, I'm not etirely sure, whether I understood you correctly. But with the reconverted books, I can switch to any of the fonts, and it just works. |

As far as I know, all the Calibre font filter does is remove any existing font-family assignments in the epub's existing css. This should allow the PRST1's select-a-different-font standard feature to actually change to the font you have selected (rather than do nothing). I don't believe it will fix the 'unpredictable bold and/or italics' problem.

I think the update fixed the crashes that often occurred when I paged too fast in the reader books' list (pressing the "next page" button in the books' list many times between actual page turn). I also tried to turn pages faster than actual page refresh rate inside a book from start to chapter 4, both using touch screen and "next page" key, no crash nor lock.

Installed and working fine here, but aside from continuous page flipping a couple of times I haven't had any issues anyway.

Well I now have a PRS T1! I love it, I got the reader, the lighted cover & the charger all for 134.85! I updated to software to version 1.1.04.11230 and then let it synch all of my books. It took about an hour.

It's great to have a new reader. If you are on the fence about this jump off & get one! |

I'm still having 'internet connectivity issues' after update: I can connect to some sites, but not others, in particular I cannot connect to Dropbox. Any ideas?

I would clear history, cookies, etc in the browser first and then try to reconnect to the problem websites.
