I think the "official" name for the "church eggs" is strata. I used to make it all the time for church breakfasts, too. My aunt used to make it for holiday breakfasts.

Found a smaller bowl for my Multi Grain Cheerios and used an 8 ounce glass for my OJ. Breakfast was good. Now thinking of some yogurt and water for a mindafternoon snack.
