For me this is more a optical design issue / matter of taste.

The straps are very soft and do not hinder button press in any way for me. You can even push the strap to bush the button.

Thank you for posting this review. I'm in the market for a case as I just ordered my T1. Case/Cover reviewers are really hard to come by so I really appreciate your effort.

Couple of quick questions:

I can't seem to find a picture of the case when it is folded in half. (i.e. Front cover is brought to the back cover for easy one hand reading)

Is it possible to fold? (If possible, picture please )
If so, does that magnetic clasp stick out to the right? Will it dangle?

Thanks for that.

I will try and get a pic up later, after work. The cover folds back against itself very well indeed as the spine is quite flexible.

The clasp does dangle but I do not find that to be an issue.

Glad to hear that dangling is not an issue and thanks for picture later- It will really help me understand how this case will work for me.

Hopefully this will work. I quickly snapped these with my iphone at work.

But it does show what you are after, I believe.

Great! Thanks for the pics.

It appears that the cover folds back to itself very nicely. Pretty much no gap between when it is in that position. Also the stylus doesn't seem to be hanging down or anything - that's really good.

Just to confirm, when you are reading the ebook like that, with one hand, have you had any problems because the cover is sliding against itself? (ultimately I'm asking how comfortably the one hand reading experience is...)

I don't think that is going to be the case because the way it folded looks very flat but just to make sure...

By the way thanks for taking your time to share your pics and insight... this is my first ebook & accessory purchase so I have some weird questions...

I normally do not read with the cover folded back, but it does feel comfortable with little sliding issues.

if I may... I don't have Sony but I do have Gecko cover for the Kindle. I normally always fold it back when I read and twist the clasp up to clip it together and it does not dangle anymore. Then I put fingers inbetween both sides and press button with the thumb.
If that is not clear explanation I'm sorry, it's 5 am here, I'm not native English speaker and I'm having a sleepless night

@sabredog: Thanks very much for the pictures; I asked Gecko directly for the same but have not yet had a reply.

In your estimation, is it likely that the spine of the cover may get damaged if one were to repeatedly fold it over like that?

Also, could you possibly post the full dimensions of the cover when closed? I currently carry my reader 'naked' in a jacket pocket, and tried the Sony cover (with light) in a shop, but it was too large. The one without light fit (barely) but I didn't like the design very much. Just wondering how much bulk the Gecko cover adds.

Thanks muchly,
- Micha.

I received my reader today, and although I have a sleeve for it, I believe I am going to be more comfortable holding it in a case. This Gecko cover seems like a good fit for me, but the website is down suddenly. Anyone else having problems accessing it? I had placed a case in my cart, left for a bit, came back, and *poof*. I hope it comes back up soon—I know I'll have a bit of a wait as it is for shipping to the US.
