Frighteningly warm - it's December after all! Temps in the 70's again today. Breezy & rainy - cold front on its way! [We've been able to keep the deck door open at night - so Stella can go crazy jumping at the moths!] |

-10C and -17C with the windchill. It is still surprisingly non-winter like here. It was 4C yesterday. That's ridiculously warm. |

your winter december day was warmer than our summer december day. Brisbane had a top of 19.1°C (66.4°F) yesterday the coolest december day since 1888. The world must be turning! | |

Got home just in time for major thunderstorms to move through - 60 mph straight line winds & torrential rain. Lights flickered a few times but stayed on. Going out to look for our trash cart now.

-22C, -30C with the windchill. The moon was so big over downtown with the vapour from building heating systems in the air. I put long underwear on today. First time this season. Not bad considering it's week two of December. |

It's 3 F out this morning. The last few days have been so cold that on this quiet Saturday morning I can hear the eerie “singing” of the river freezing over. |

Crisp, cold day (high in the 40's F), sunny - went to Duke Gardens and strolled about - lots of green stuff but very few flowers any more. Ducks looked so cold in the water.

Unless something drastic happens, it is looking like we are going to be mid to high 70's on Christmas Day.
