My guess it's ignoring everything before the - I have mine set to look like this:

Book Title (Series 01)
I use a plugboard to do this.

But then why would it NOT do that for the other books that are titled like that.

That is a mystery. I would delete it and reimport it and see if that fixes.

Just thought of something. Open the epub up in Calibre using the explode option and look at the opf file in notepad. There might be something there causing it.

That did it. I opened up the epub in Calibre and it was different than what Calibre had, so I changed it to match the title of what I wanted it to sort by.

Don't know why I didn't think of that in the first place. THANKS!!!

You can use the series filter to view all books in the same series.
Have you found a way to sort by series number yet?

I just tried the app and have one concern: PDF highlights are not written to the file. Am I correct here? or is there a way... Is it possible to have it work together with Calibre?

After reading that, I had to have another fiddle about with my library. Turns out I had to delete and reimport everything. Didn't dawn on me to try that as I'd already reimported to get them into Series in the first place.

Cheers.

AFAIK, yes, but IMO it's a broader issue with Mantano's annotation system for PDF. See http://mantano.zendesk.com/entries/2...tion-interface for my take.

Cheers.

P.S. If you want your annotations stored in the file itself, at the moment, you may try ezPDF or Repligo.

Where does Mantano get the series information from?

I'm guessing from the metadata, but seeing as there is now defined way of setting series info, how doe I set it?

Or does it use what is created from Calibre?

It's the Calibre metadata. I recently imported my entire collection and learned that if I edited Calibre metadata after I converted to epub then the Calibre data didn't show up in Mantano. So to get your Calibre data into Mantano you either need to tweak the epub before importing or Edit the metadata then convert to epub in Calibre before importing.

Yep. I always keep my Calibre library up-to-date with all meta data. So, whenever I place a book on my device (always using Calibre), it'll have all the correc data. This also works when using the Content Server (I don't know about that ops-something-thingie, though, as I don't use it).

Does this mean I need to convert my whole collection within Calibre even if it is already epub so that it recognises my Series. What do you mean tweak the epub?

No just change the Metadata and do a save to disk for it take effect I think it also works if you send to device as well. No need to reconvert.
