Please Help!!!

First I want to say I have been at this for 2 hours. I simply want to transfer books downloaded to calibre to my iphone. I do not want to have to go through ITunes. I've read the user manual and the forum posts here, none of the suggestions are working for me. This seemed like it would be a simple task, but it is so frustrating.

I downloaded from the website, so I'm assuming it is the most up to date version. I followed the directions in the user manual for over the air, using stanza and ibooks. Stanza keeps timing out and yes I increased the time. Nothing happens when I type in the ip address.

I'm almost to the point where I just want to delete the program all together because apparently my brain is too simple to make it work.

Easy answer, you can't. You ahve to go through iTunes.

You are right it is probably the most up to date version, but saying it without telling us the version number does nothing to help us know what version of calibre you are actually using or what OS you are using?

I don't have an iphone or use Stanza, but more info from you might help others help you. What is the IP address you're using? Have you appended :8080 to it? Have you added this as a new catalog in Stanza? What version of Stanza are you using?
