Today my mother is babysitting our friends' children. They just brought over their 2 year-old and the 5 year-old is coming over after school and his swimming lesson.

Lexie does not like young children. When I got up she came to my room to make that clear. After giving her some attention I put down a fleece blanket for her and I'm going to get her food and water bowls too so she doesn't have to go downstairs.

Because my mother's babysitting I'm working all day and I'm now trying to decide what to get for lunch later on today.

Unpacking my dive gear, soaking it all in the bathtub to get rid of any leftover salt, throwing bathing suits, T-shirts, and towels into the washing machine, and having a good mug of strong tea! It's nice to be home again!

*nervously shuffles feet* I hope this is OK.....

I just put up my first website! Would anyone care to test it for me and let me know what fails? I have not been able to test properly on ipad, android etc.

I am aware that the google+1 button shows funny in older browsers and hopefully will work it out.

I would appreciate any feedback (even the bad stuff)

well it looks pretty good, but why would you expect people to come to the back of beyond and not have pets with them?

Anyway they can have pets in the caravan park.

I'm adjusting the contrast and brightness of the photos I took last night. Why are my photos always so "vague"/misty? You know, I want them to be "deep", clear, precise and focusing... Any tip?

I don't pay much attention to the content, but I think you should improve the visual effects (the fonts, the colors, etc.)

IMO the appearance isn't attractive enough

It's bold, clear and easy on eyes, but... You can be clear, simple and interesting. But this kind of simplicity is a bit boring... you know what I mean, don't you?

Like, maybe add some glittering, blinking buttons? Oh, and pop-up windows with blazing "Click Here!" links. And maybe a .midi file to play a tune as soon as you land on the page. (Don't include a way to adjust the volume; what a hassle it would be to fiddle with a volume bar!)

I was trying to avoid the yahoo style of page.

Most of our visitors are grey nomads.

I notice that all comments are about content and not about whether it works OK.

I assume that it must work, but it is boring and the rules suck!

Anh, send me a link to one or two of your photos and I'll may be able to give you some suggestions. Also, which photo-correction software are you using?

All the links seem to look fine SS; I couldn't find any broken ones.

I like the simplicity in design, ease of navigation, the fonts and the easy-on-the-eyes colours.

I enjoyed looking at the old photos.

Sitting bored silly while trying to ignore the fact that I'm irritated that my latest purchase has been sitting marked as Ready to Send for over 24 hours now!

You'd think that at my age I wouldn't be like a kid waiting for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve when awaiting an order being sent/delivered.

Here you are.

I only use ViewNX 2 from Nikon to adjust the contrast, brightness, and shadow/highlight protection.
